My nerves are fried, and we’re about to leave town on another US Tour. Looking forward to coming out to see you all, and hoping you feel the same.
But I’d like to point out that we are friends in need. We’ve recently been robbed of some important gear and a tiny bit of pride. We’d like to barter when we come to town if any of you have anything that can help us out.
-I am in special need of used cymbals, particularly crash rides, 20″ or bigger.
-We want to build up a stockpile of images for future t-shirt and poster designs. 1 to 4 color images that will translate to screen prints are our primary focus, but anyone who would like to submit any sort of art work will be much appreciated. Please contact us on myspace or at contactodeath@gmail.com.
-We’d like to invite our fans to bring their video cameras out on this tour, and post on youtube or send to us directly. This will be a problem with some venues so please check with your local venue FIRST.
-Newman and I need tattoos. That’s right, I said NEED.
If you can help us with any of these things, please get in touch. We can arrange a trade for free tickets or a few pieces of merchandise or whatever seems reasonable.
Here’s a piece we got from Heather Niggli in Rochester, NY.

Thanks so much. We look forward to hearing from you,

Please join us in congratulating Greg and Kristin on their new marriage!

Kristin is a brave lady to wed a man in Greg’s line of work, and Greg is lucky to have such a lovely woman in his life. These people are the best friends I could ask for, and we all wish them the greatest happiness and a heavy dose of good luck. May this union be blessed!!
Here’s another one from Crackerfarm. I’m starting to think we don’t know anyone else, but they do such great work! http://www.crackerfarm.com
Our sometimes horn player, Dan Sager, recently informed me that my blog entries make no sense. Well, if you feel the same, I believe there is now a comment section at the end of each entry. I’d be happy to hash it out with you, Dan.
I’d like to give a shout out to Elliott Brood whom we recently met in Holland. We are very happy to be doing a leg of our US / Canadian with these guys.
They have some great songs and we can’t wait to see them do it live.
We’re getting ready for another US tour. Looking forward to the West Coast especially cause we haven’t been all the way out in over a year.
And behind a new record too!
Which will feature this song, Vacant Moan.
This video’s from Roisin Dubh in Galway. That was at the end of September, and the people in Galway are fucking awesome.
Somewhere around the middle of this past summer, we found ourselves in beatiful Vienna, on the bank of the beautiful Donaukanal, with beautiful people pointing cameras at us. See what they’ve done:
They Shoot Music Don’t They are some awesome people working in the realm of urban off video production; a medium pioneered by the fine folks at Blogotheque.net.
This one goes out to our good buddy, Langhorne Slim, cause he’s got a great song on his new album that shares a name with the girl I let pierce my head in Galway, Ireland. It was totally crooked, as you can see, so I couldn’t keep it.

And I should let this one speak for itself…
but, that’s one Razor Tooth Newman high-fiving half of the Crackerfarm team, over a bottle of strong drink. Oh, and I guess there’s some scissors somewhere in the picture as well…
Shitdog. That’s what I’d call that. Or at least say as I watched it happen.
Thanks Swarthmore for inspiring a night of embarrassingly fun party times.

I’m hanging out in the autumnal beauty of Berlin. What a great city. Thanks to everyone who came out to our EU shows. Don’t be a damn stranger!
