After a week of having a blank upcoming shows section (for the first time in three years!) we’ve posted a slew of summer dates in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland and one each in Germany and Belgium.  The US and Canadian dates are mostly with Les Claypool!  Of course, we are so psyched to have the chance to play more shows with one of rock music’s greatest champions of weirdness.  And most of the EU dates are festival engagements.  So, we are looking forward to an excruciatingly fun summer.

Also, there’s a lot of great footage from our recent EU tour, but it really needs to be edited if we’re to avoid completely embarrassing ourselves.  So, let me leave you with an image of one of our most inspiring heroes…

Some may think Ronnie James Dio is funny, but let me tell you he is no joke.  Everybody loves seminal tracks like Holy Diver and Rainbow In The Dark, but check out other choice cuts like Killing The Dragon and Hide In The Rainbow (from the Iron Eagle soundtrack).  Man, this guy’s crazy about rainbows…

Progress Report

After leveling much of the Western World into a smoldering stain, we’re digging in at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean.  We blast into rock beneath our unsuspecting neighbors, in search of a new noise.  Till we discover this rare stone and polish it for mass consumption, feast your eyes and ears upon an older tableaux… This is in Austin, TX about five months ago:

odeathbreath

Greetings from the home base. While one weekend of band related excitement is behind me, another is close approaching. My other band, skeletonbreath, will be having our long awaited record release show this Holy Saturday the 11th. Holy shit!
It’s at Public Assembly on North 6th Street in Williamsburg, Bklyn (next to Music Hall of…)
It would warm my heart and fry my tears to have some odeath-heads around with their support and debauchery. The show is early - 7:00 doors. Turns into dance club immedietly following the rock.
Thanks y’all

For the first time in almost 2 years we don’t have any upcoming shows posted.  Hopefully over the next two months we can make some headway on writing a new record!

In the meantime we played 3 shows last weekend with The Oddity Fair, headlined by none other than Les Claypool.  The three dates we did in the North East also included Saul Williams and The Secret Chiefs 3.  Needless to say, we had a blast!  All of the bands and crews were super nice to us, and everyone really seemed to appreciate each other’s work.

We must thank Les Claypool and his production staff and everyone else involved in making this event happen.  We hope we can see more of all these great artists in the very near future.

peace - see yall this summer,

David
